Both 9am Morning and 11.30 midday service will be dedicated to encouragement our students returning to schools, colleges and universities with inspirational words and Special prayers.

What is Alpha?
The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith and the meaning of life.
It’s relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun.
Listen, learn, discuss and discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile. And it’s supported by all the main Christian denominations. ”Over 7,000 courses are currently running across the UK in rural and urban settings, including every major UK city.”
What’s involved?
The course is based around small groups of about 12 people, hosted by one or two leaders whose role is to facilitate and encourage discussion. The whole course usually lasts for 10 weeks, with a day or weekend away in the middle.
Food
There will be a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives people a chance to get to know each other.
Talk
The Alpha Course consists of a series of talks addressing key issues relating to the Christian faith.
Discussion
After each talk we divide into small groups to discuss the topic of the evening, ask questions and express opinions.
Listen, learn, discuss and discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone, especially:
Alpha helps you Investigate whether God exists; discover what the bible says about what happens after death. Do you simply want to understand other peoples’ beliefs or would like to explore what the purpose of life is? You may have never been to church before, or may have attended church occasionally but feel you have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith.
Alpha is for you.
What will it cost?
It is completely free but contributions towards the cost of refreshments are welcome.

Evening Alpha: Starts Thursday 16 September 2010 (7:30–9.45pm, and will run for 10 weeks; location – NTA Tooting Church, Beechcroft Road tooting).

UNHINDERED CONFERENCE

Welcome!
On behalf the leaders and members here at NTA Tooting I extend a hearty welcome to our annual church conference. I trust that this conference will be a time of refreshing, revival and uplift for you. And that it will mark lasting and a defining moment in your walk with God.
Our theme ‘unhindered’ is a single word that characterizes the New Testament church (whose name we bear) throughout the book of Acts. Speaking about the Apostle Paul, the scripture tells us; Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 28.31). Empowered by the Holy Spirit at Pentecost the early followers of Jesus were transformed into an unstoppable force, combating spiritual darkness and breaking through barriers of race, religion and culture to penetrate the hearts of men and women with the love of the Lord.
I am so glad that the same undeterred power that created the world, breathed life into man, conquered the grave and was poured out at Pentecost lives in us today, equipping and enabling us to overcome the challenges that we face in our times. By God’s grace throughout these four days of unhindered worship, teaching and prayer our anointed speakers and psalmists will help us identify and breakthrough the constraints that seek to hold us back from the victorious living that Christ intends for us. I truly believe that boldly and unhindered is how God wants us to come into his presence in worship and prayer. It’s how he wants us to lay hold of his promises; pursue our dreams; fulfil our redemptive potential and to become a force for change in our world.
