Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update – NTA Tooting Plans (18/03/2020)

Update: Weds 18-3-20
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the Government tightening of restrictions, NTA Tooting church offices will be closed until further notice. Staff are working remotely from home and can respond to telephone and email queries during normal working hours (9.30am -5.30pm).
Weekend worship suspended
Until further notice NTA Tooting will suspend meeting together at our usual times on Sundays. Instead the Morning service will be streamed live or pre-recorded and subsequently aired and uploaded to the church’s YouTube channel. This is an unprecedented action in our times that in some ways challenges us to live out our core value of community and connectedness in creative ways. As compassionate and responsible citizens we accept these Government measures as critical in helping to arrest the spread of the coronavirus which has already claimed many lives.
We are keen to reduce the negative impact of isolation particularly on our seniors and where they are not able to, we ask their next of kin to contact us to ensure that they have access to the broadcast. We hope to make the virtual services an interactive and enjoyable experience for those who will be watching from home.
Tuesday Midweek prayer
As of now church will be open for prayer on Tuesday 7pm – 8.30pm. A limit will be placed on the number of people in attendance in line with the recommended 2 metre social distancing rule between persons.
All other meetings are suspended or where appropriate will be conducted online.
Due to the evolving nature of Government advice and not ruling out further tightening of restrictions, we will be regularly updating this website. Please keep checking to ensure you have the very latest update on our plans.
